What's new

Jefferson or Millsap for 5th pick and Garcia?

Drummond will NOT slip that far .. I'd be shocked if he's on the board at 6, shocked. Not because he's good or worthy, but because of the dreaded 'potential.'

Anyone that would 'really' take White or Lamb in the top 10 is stupid or insane, or both.

DX is projecting Lamb at #8 to Toronto. Yeah, he's not super cerebral, but I don't think he's really as dumb as he comes across. He's a lottery talent.

You are wrong about Lamb and White. They are top ten talent.

And I am not baiting him. This is how I Feel. The more I look at Drummond the more I feel he is a huge bust

He could be. His motor sucks. His work ethic is greatly in question. However, his size, skill, and athleticism is something most won't have the guts to pass on.

I'm not saying how good I think he will be, I'm stating where I think he'll be drafted.

I actually like Lamb (one of the few guys I've actually seen since he plays in the only conference I watch.) But not at 5 which, I think, is the purpose of this thread. Late lotto guy, solid risk on talent, but not enough that I'd hand away Millsap, let alone the GS pick on top that.

I think he has too many question marks. There is a bunch of other talent that could be picked ahead of him. I don't think I would take him in the top 15. I Know this may be a limb I am going out on, but I gonna run with it. Maybe the NBA GM's will agree with me and let him slip. I wouldn't be surprised.

You heard it hear first. Andre Drummond is a big fat bust.

Exactly. Lamb should be 11 - 13, imo.

KOC is too conservative to a major fault.
This is one of the dumbest sentences I've seen on here in a while. HE ****ING TRADED DERON WILLIAMS. That is not being conservative in any way shape or form.

I just remembered why I stopped posting here very often. But could not help commenting on this moronic post.

Tell that to Don Imus.

Hasn't KOC or someone said if they got a first round pick it would be a 15-20 pick?
They would be still able get still get a player they really want.

I haven't heard that quoted quite like that. I may be wrong, but I think there was a reference to a pick in that range would have value .. or something like that.

Until after the fact, I would take whatever KOC says with a grain of salt. The fact that he's said that the price may be too high to get into the lottery, tells me two things. 1) he's trying to get into the lottery, and 2) if he can't get into the lottery, then he's already told us why.

Whats up you big baby.

Cry me a river.

Hey moron, trading Dwill was the less risky move than to keep him. Pull your head out your ***, wipe your tears, and shut the ef up.

Never seen Lillard play. But I don't like 4 year seniors drafted in the lottery. (Yes, Tim Duncan.) You draft 4 year seniors after 10 unless there's a really, really compelling reason.

I was "do anything to get Lillard" about 2-3 months ago. Now I'm not so sure.

- He'll be 22 years old when he starts his NBA career.
- Up to this point he's only played in mediocre competition.
- Portland is looking at him at #6 which seems to be to be way too high (as a product of a lack of PG in this draft I suspect).
- He's still learning the rope in terms of playing the PG position (I do acknowledge though that the likes of Westbrook aren't traditional PG)

At the end of the day - I think KOC is too level headed to take Lillard anywhere near the #6 pick. At any event, we'd probably have to mortgage our house to get him - and that's definitely not KOC's style.

That's why I think Marquis Teague is a sleeper in this draft. Expectations were sky high for him at the beginning of the year. He was next in the line of lottery PGs at Kentucky after Wall and Knight. He didn't meet expectations, was playing on a team loaded with talent at every position, and he kinda slid. He's still the same guy though and could still end up being the best PG in this year's draft.

Lillard is a good athlete who works hard and can really shoot the ball. It's hard to see how he busts.
