More death threats -- Woman take video of her walk through New York

These recent 'viral' feminist movements just seem like a money grab. Insecure consumers are always the easiest to prey on. My main problem is that anyone who disagrees with this particular campaign (The video to raise money/awareness for HollaBack) can easily be labeled as a misogynist - which is entirely unfair.
 
One brow needs to realize that I did not offer the social cues that allowed him to speak his mind on this matter. These comments in public are not welcome. His behavior is invasive and demeaning and I'm requesting funds from all of you to stop this blatant lack of courtesy.
 
this is the reason why i dont say "top of the morning or some **** like that" to certain women on the street.

i say hi to almost everyone i come accros except fine chicks in the prime of their mating years

Neither do you or OB. You seem to be making the assertion that most women do not want to be checked out or hit on. Anecdotally I would say that a lot actually do like some level of attention and flirtation. I would guess that most women dislike being ignored when they are all gussied up. I know that women report sexual harassment but I have not seen a poll that would define the line between sexual harassment and welcome flirtation from the female perspective. It would be interesting to see.

I don't think that you are any more qualified than anyone else to define how women(in general) feel.

I am not going to go that far but many are accusing her of being a nasty feminist who is jealous pretty girls get attention because she doesn't so she wants to destroy love and sex for all. Honestly I think most people know women get hit on at an uncomfortable rate and it is one of the unfortunate things about being a woman (there are many positives about being a women as well). This video was very underwhelming in the amount of harassment I would have expected an attractive woman to have during 10 hours in NYC tbh. Doesn't make it any more or less acceptable for what some of the people in that video did.
 
what would be interesting - and a good follow-up to this "study" - would be to have an average looking, 30-ish guy, neatly but casually dressed in jeans and a polo, with a hidden camera - on the street (or rather, on the sidewalk!) greeting female passers-by and recording their reactions

Actually, I'm making the suggestion that you take a couple of extra seconds to verify that they want to be checked out or hit on.

It's pretty damn comical when you think that, just because something is a joke, it is not also trying to make a response-worthy point at the same time. Tell me more about the fine art of reading discussion boards.
