What Will You Do If Dl Resigns Ty???

Nobody had the Jazz playing .500 basketball this year. Ty is a big part of this clear outperformance, but like Sloan he'll never receive recognition for winning more than seems possible.

Neither does Ty...Utah is 21-39. Lets even break it down since the last two months when the Jazz have been playing better:

Since January - 11-15
Since February - 5-9

It'll be fun to watch DLocke make an *** of himself senselessly insulting Corbin once we choose not to re-sign him.

A complete shill in the truest sense of the word.

I will put my right hand in. I will put my right hand out and will spin all about.

pretty sure corbin will be coming back for atleast 2 more years.

UNLESS thibs is up for leaving the bulls. There is nobody else in the league to replace crobain with.

Not a chance of this happening.

Will bet anyone anything on that.

Bring me your $50 then.

You're blaming Ty for a 1-15 start that DL designed to happen? Srs Stroked or no??

I even broke down since January and since February when they began to win more. They have not been playing .500 ball.

Are you only counting games where everyone plays?

No. He's counting games that we're playing .500. I don't know why this is so hard to understand. Just man up and give Ty some ******* credit. Few coaches could lead this squad to play .500 ball the way Ty has.

It's impressive that Ty has us playing .500 ball considering we aren't playing .500 ball.

I kind of get the argument. Take away the 1-14 start and the Jazz are 20-25. Stretch that over the entire season and it's still just 36-46. Injuries? Every team deals with them. I'm too lazy to look it up, but deduct for those 15 games and I'll bet the Jazz don't have an alarming number of games missed to injuries.

The other caveat is that you can't entirely dismiss the 1-14 start. It was a BRUTAL schedule with more away games than home, and a very tough SOS. Even with Burke, Evans and Williams all healthy from Day 1, I'd suggest the record may only have improved 3-5 games.

So let's be generous and give the Jazz 5 more wins over that stretch. They're now 26-34 with a winning % of .433. That translates to a 35-47 record.

Would 35-36 wins be overachieving with this squad? Remember, in both scenarios we've completely removed the effects of having Harris, Tinsley and Lucas in the lineup.

How the hell are we playing .500 ball?

What's our record again?

We are 18 games below .500. Even if you took out all those games which Trey missed we would be below .500.

We are 4-6 in our last 10. That's not .500 ball.

Is Miami playing sub .500 ball? OKC? Indy?

Am I on bizarro world now?

Seriously, how can anyone argue that we are playing .500 ball? I don't get it

We are just one major piece from playing .500 ball under Ty. With plenty of cap space we will have next season it's nothing but guaranteed .500 ball. I don't see why you guys are so close minded.

Ty isn't as bad as Jazzfanz says he is.

With that said, he isn't a top 5 coach in this league-- and seeing as we already have the cards stacked against us (due to small market), we NEED a well-coached team to thrive. Look at Indiana, San Antonio, and Utah of years passed: all were impacted by coaching.

I agree with frank in that coaching alone doesn't make a HUGE impact on the performances of a team, but that isn't a point.

As a small market team, we need every advantage we get.

This offseason, is Tyrone Corbin the best coach we can get? If the Jazz FO thinks so, then power to then. Personally, I have my doubts.

You do of course realize that I'm saying that we aren't playing .500 ball…right?

Oh screw it, I don't know why I even bother with you.

Even if you put us at 20-25, it's not .500.

There is no argument.
