I'm guessing 14. He just doesnt look to score consistently enough or get to the FT line (at all) to go over 15. Even last night he had 17 in the first half then just scored 5 in the 2nd.
You can tell Ingles really turns up his aggressiveness scoring when the team is going through a rough patch, then he dials it way back in favor of playmaking when the team is in a rhythm and defenses are playing him tighter.
There were at least 3 times last night where someone missed Joe standing open near the corner. In a perfect world, that never happens, and Joe gets up a shot. This is such an efficient shot that I think Snyder should want nothing less than 17ppg average from Joe.
Burks played excellent last night with one exception: missing a reverse layup flip with Joe ****ing Ingles wide open, corner 3, right in front of Alec.
He had one classic AB long 2, but overall was very good. I honestly think he missed the layup in part because he saw Joe and had second thoughts.
I'll live with a few long twos and houdini attempts if we get that defense, passing and such.
I'll live with last night's AB and Exum every day of the week. Exum coming in (followed quckly by Rubio's departure) was what turned the game around more than anything, but Alec was a huge part too. I thought damn, if this is what opposing benches have to face... Seemed like Alec did the same in the 3rd too, but I was too busy breaking up fights to pay enough attention.
If he stay's aggressive and keeps looking for his shot more he should be our second leading scorer. I could see him averaging 14-16 PPG. On the other hand, I could also see him passing up shots like he's done in the past and averaging around 11 or 12 PPG. I think he's probably our second best offensive player after Mitchell but a lot of it just comes down to how aggressive he's willing to be. On a separate note, was anyone else as surprised as I was by how few minutes O'Neal got last night?
