"Picture Of The Day" Thread

Looks like a cool dude. A friend of mine has a 'private' stretch of the snake river that he claims is the best of the best (I wouldn't know). I do know he has had guest like Bobby Knight (yuck), Baldwin bros (yuck), etc, up there in the past year or so..

We have property on Henry's Fork and I have no problem believing that there are stretches of that river that are "best of the best". Solid water that is, aye.

That dude needs to wash his feet, dear Gordon. This is how you get tapeworms.

Front page of CNN.com today.....like they knew I was coming.

^ That is pretty freaking crazy. I have such hydrophobia that just looking at that picture makes my skin crawl.

Here is a real badass, kinda from one of my ancestors.

Does that Mongolian got a femur stuck in his saddle to hold onto in order to hold the eagle? Srsly.

My bros, Sean and Cameron deserve some press in this thread..

Yes, here is the answer: "I got a femur!"

Srsly though, I didn't understand your question exactly. Did you use "Femur" as some kind of metaphor?

Otherwise, if you are asking about if the eagle was too heavy to hold without leaning one side so he has to use his feet to hold onto... Yes it's plausible, wiki says golden eagles can weigh up to 15 lbs, female ones weigh heavier than the male ones weigh and these guys use female eagles to hunt so I guess the eagle he holds may weigh more than 10 lbs easily, I think that's enough to break the balance.

Your ancestor is an eagle?

Haha, you know I meant the guy. My roots from Turkmenistan and the guy in the picture is most probably from Kazakhstan(he doesn't look like Mongolian, I maybe wrong though). Either way, it's the middle asia and the lands of my ancestors.
