CJ Miles is the man!

CJ the man?

Sounds about right....or maybe sounds more like Bozzer.

Yes, because we're here to compare meaningless stats and pretend that observation is meaningless. Additionally, thank you captain obvious for defending the honor of her lady, your spousal position r.e. Clank, that you've resorted to the extreme position of everybody misses a wide open shot here or there as some fringe justification. I mean, you've added so much that I hereby nominate you king coach, lowercase of course.

I'm glad it took you 4 threads and more pages than countable to finally address a point. You truly are a candidate for smartest SOB who has ever walked this earth award. It takes a once in a Big Bang genius to come up with the stuff you have here. I've decided to refer to you're new title, MR. I Cannot Read Or Come Up with An Original Thought as the source of all that is righteous, wise, and godly. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart.

Is homer in the dictionary yet?

Wow your a little bit sensitive. Forget to unbunch your panties this morning? I asked you for justification of your whole point and instead of trying to do that you attack.

CJ misses open shots, I conceded that. I counter with so does everybody else. Forgive me if your completely biased observation that CJ misses more open shots is not good enough for me to concede the point. I'll just consider you the biased moran that you seem to be and move on.

Yes, my panties were a little bunched and you got the brunt of it. I was also angry drunk so deal with it. I'm not sorry that you did not read the entire thread instead of cherry picking a single post and making your reactionary comment. I made a point multiple times. You either did not read it or you pretended otherwise. Did you happen to forget 4 pages worth here alone? Seriously bro, you deserved it. I wouldn't have gone so hard on you if I didn't think you deserved to be held to a higher standard. You're better than these newbies who take things out of context to score points.

Read the entire thread again for my point then cry me a river again if you really think you were making a valid response.

Really!? Wow, how do I tell? I'm learning so much.

Do you ever read anyone who is so off target that you can't help wondering if a severely handicapped person has been trained five to ten years (minimum) to structure a complete sentence and post it on the internet?

I read the thread in the post i quoted you said flat out the only argument you have is he misses wide open shots. Thereby disqualifying and superseding (in my opinion) your rambling arguments in the rest of the thread. In which you actually try and qualify your argument 2 or 3 times. You said flat out what your argument was in that statement and I called you on it. You had no answer and flipped out because your were called on something you can't quantify.

As for being drunk I get that. I write **** I don't mean on occasion when drunk but this last post does not have that excuse. And is still worthless for addressing the question I posed to you.

You say he misses shots because you say he does. A guy shows that his FG% is not that far off others and you call it irrelevant because he misses wide open shots. Does that mean he's extremely good at hitting contested shots then? Because if he sucks at wide open ones but still has a respectable FG% for his position that would be what you seem to indicate. If so great maybe he should take more contested shots from now on.

So I went where I went based on your statements. I cherry picked that statement because you seem to have used it to explain the rest of your argument.

Are you really defending your statement that everyone misses wide open shots? Yeah, we get it. There are free throws too. You were being more than wonkish and you know it.

I don't regret what I wrote. Like I said before, I hold you to a higher standard than these other reactionary *******s.

Rhetorical. Do you believe this or not? If so then please expand. If you're not willing to acknowledge that there is more to fg% than meets the eye then there's no sense discussing any of this. Why, we'd just post fg%'s and that would be the end of it. OK.

2-10...ouch.

Can we get rid of CJ in a trade for Wallace?

But..but..he is versatile, dont you see? Give him a couple of years and he'll be better than Jason Richardson ever was

Where is your post calling out every other member of the team for that game? The only player who shot respectably was Millsap 5-7 and he did not get nearly enough touches. The starter's were atrocious and Bell has been disappointing this year to say the least.

As disappointing as Bell has been shooting-wise, he is still shooting a better % than Miles and more importantly doesn't jack up 16 shots like Miles did tonight, despite making only 6. And those other starters, they all shoot a higher or in some cases much higher percentage than Miles

...if Miles and Klinko were just a little bit more consistently good....we could dominate. But it just ain't gonna happen.

Yea right. Bell shoots the exact same % from the floor as CJ this year. And a negligible margin better from 3.

The year that Miles was the starter he shot .459 FG% and .352 3 pt% both much better than Bell as the starter this year. It's easier to shoot a high % when your the man that the other team does not worry about. Deron, Millsap and AJ are all options over Bell when he is on the floor. A lot of the time Miles is on the floor he is the 1st option to score. Miles' #'s 2 years ago in Bell's role were much better than Bell this year. Add to that Bell's defense this year is less that advertised and he's part of the unit that hardly ever outscores their opponent.

who cares about 2 years ago? That was a different team. Plus, Miles has never been good enough to retain the starter position for a whole season anyways. Last year he eventually lost it to Maththews/AK.

His FG% last 4 seasons leading upto this one:

48%
46%
43%
41%

Nice progression.

Moral of the story- You give him a bigger role and you get diminishing returns.

FG% doesn't tell half the story. He is at career highs in points, rebounds, blocks, steals, ft attempts. All with the same amount of minutes.

Advanced stats
PER: 14.9 (career high)
+/- : +17.3 (career high)

You can't spin all those statistics, he is by far having his best year ever.
