Anything is possible
Do any of you guys happen to know of a website that has a spreadsheet of all the prospects stats on one page? Just curious because I find myself going back to DX often to check something in the stats of one player and wanting to compare to another but then I have to go to a different profile. It would be easier if there was a site with everything on one spreadsheet.
But seriously - I disagree with Cy about drafting players specifically to put against the Warriors in the second. It's hard enough to find rotational players in the second of any kind to begin with, finding ones that will specifically fare well against a specific all-time great team is somewhat of a pipedream IMO. I think you draft players to make your team better any way possible and against the NBA as a whole. You never know who's gonna get injured, what will transpire in a year or two.

It's odd how that poster says impossible is nothing after it says it is five things.
Cy's idea is dumb, yeah... The Jazz should probabaly try and get the guy who they think will make their team as good as can possibly be. Dat is logic.
Logic? That is why a guy like Swanigan is ranked as low as he is. If teams were just drafting the best basketball talent, he would be drafted much higher. Teams are drafting based on trends, they want athletes who can play both sides of the court. There is nothing dumb about drafting to try and get those kind of players.
Huh? I didn't actually read ur post, sorry if I misunderstood from stitches paraphrasing... obviously the Jazz should get who they think is best, and, yeah, Swanigan probably shouldn't be high on the list. There is nothing dumb about getting the player they think will make their team best overall for the longest period of time. From what he said I thought you were suggesting they try and get players specifically to try and combat the Warriors and specific players on the Warriors. You prolly didn't say that so I'll just

I think that is one in the same thing right now.
Players who can beat the Warriors are 2-way players, and those are the players everyone wants. It's not like anyone you draft to beat the Warriors is going to be useless against the 28 other teams.
The example I used was Jordan Bell. I think Jordan Bell would potentially be a perfect backup center to combat Warriors lineups where Draymond Green plays center. I think that would be a good pick if you want to win a championship. I think Bell could come in Day 1 and play 10-15 mpg backup center against the growing trend of teams playing small ball centers, especially against a team like the Warriors.
Guys like Jeanne, Pazenicks, or whoever might be a higher potential center due to size, but they aren't as good of fits to give the Jazz versatility to beat the Warriors and other teams that go to small ball lineups.
Yall are being dumb if you are saying picking with the thought of "Does this player help us beat the Warriors" is a bad idea. It's a great idea.
Also, I want to draft your boy Deonte Burton.
He plays like a boss tho.Burton could be a good player, but I don't think he's terribly interested in getting there
Nah, first one ever. The rest are clowns, besides my boy RoyceAs does anyone who wears the cardinal and gold
