Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Good post.

He has his warts for sure. His rebounding, assists, and defense could be better for sure. To me I think outside of his rebounding the other two are a bit overblown.

To me his rim frequency and efficiency would need to increase to really become a primary type of scorer.

Yeah….when we talk about a Booker level guy I think he needs to develop that rim attack. But he can be really good without it. Herro, Murray, McCollum ect. Those guys are pretty damn good with a tough shot diet because they are elite shooters. And while it’s tough to just assume anyone as an elite shooter, Tre has a very strong case.

Ultimately I believe in VJ developing the skills required to be a star more. I think we should be shooting for a star, but I also like his non-star outcomes a lot as well. So that gives him a tiebreaker edge for me as well.

I want to ban SGA from being a comp to anyone. His post draft development curve was so exceptional, that if you insert such curve to anyone then you can just start projecting 2nd round prospects into all-stars.
honestly, the same should go for Kawhi. anybody in the 6'6-6'9 range with length, who is athletic and plays hard could be a superstar.

And there are a like 10 very good... easy to make comps... of elite shooters with some passing chops... and instead we have guys swerving hard to justify SGA for what? To be different?

so you're ready to pull the trigger on Lauri?

Carter Bryant as a green room guy cracks me up.

I get him as a late 1st w/ the measurables, athleticism, great interviews etc. but my lord.

Dude played 19mpg and averaged 6 points. And we’re not talking Corey Maggette / ‘99 Duke team here. He was the 6th man on a pretty “meh” AZ team.
