If DL can't even get Bejlicia, the chance of him getting Mirotic for us next year is pretty low.
If DL don't overpay Dante and Neto, we have more than enough space to outbid the Kings at 6mil a year. Same can be said about Brook Lopez, Vonleh, Harrell, etc. Like every actual NBA caliber player available last summer that can help us right now.to be fair....I heard Bjelica is a serb and the sderb connection with vlade divac was quite strong on that.

He changed the Kings season. If the Jazz wanted Bjelica, they'd have gone after him. Bjelica wasn't going to change our season.
He changed the Kings season.
Given his potential fit on our team I don’t think we can accurately say that he wouldn’t have changed things. He fills many holes on our team.
He could’ve. He didn’t. Which could be worse. If DL can't even get Bejlicia, the chance of him getting Mirotic for us next year is pretty low.
That’s why you don’t ****ing re-sign Favors. Or if you do, tell him he’s signing on to be the pure backup 5 (since he was in no position to ask nor actually sign for the money he got).No doubt but we have Favors, Crowder, Sefalosha and Niang at the 4. There just wasn’t time for him.
And perhaps that’s our problem. We’re too loyal to players. A major part of that is knowing it’s tough to recruit players to come here so we want to treat those we draft or get very well. But ****, we don’t owe **** to Sef, Niang or anyone else for that matter.
The Jazz don’t have assets or terrible contracts (only ill-advised, unnecessary ones), though.Cavs are willing to take on bad salary for assets. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25384727/lebron-james-takes-control-lakers
Hill and Korver join JR Smith on the trade block.
If the Cavs are willing to take bad contracts, I wonder if we can use them as our 3rd team in a bigger deal. We already have a working relationship with the Cavs FO after the Crowder/Hood deal.

I agree 100%. We should have signed Bjelica and let Favors walk. We would have saved $10 million to use on absorbing contracts. Better yet, we should have also let Thabo walk. Thats $15+ million right there. I'm okay with Udoh because an expiring $3.36 for an emergency center isnt that bad. That’s why you don’t ****ing re-sign Favors. You'd have to add a lot more to get Wall just to match the salaryRicky Rubio for John Wall. John Wall is a better version of Rubio. Wall, Mitchell, and Gobert could be a Big 3 for the future. Utah would have to include 2 Pick’s probably, but Washington gets out of Walls deal and gets Rubio’s expiring.

The Jazz are also more likely in a similar niche on the trade market. They don’t have assets for buying, but have cap space to sell.
