Dante's knee determines draft, running mate or insurance

Denzel Valentine should be the pick. I think he's a tad underrated to be honest.

    Kiicks get Horny

Saw that. It's a shame that he is going to tarnish his coaching career by working for a dumpster fire. Wish him luck though, always wished he'd ended up in Utah a few years back after Corbin.

We are gonna win the lottery (official thread)

The Sixers shouldn't even be allowed in the draft lottery. They get the 1st pick nearly every year and still barely eek out 10 wins a season. Terrible.

Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

I agree we probably could've gotten more for him but if you take away the compensation and just look at the overall cancer he was becoming, the hand was already dealt.

Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

So it's a mistake to trade a disgruntled player who only gives effort every now and then and doesn't play on both ends of the floor? He was a pillar piece that we were building the team around (core), and he didn't like it. I agree we likely could've gotten a better deal but keeping him in...

Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

To the original question, does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs? No. As others have posted, we tried to cater to him and he was playing starters minutes. He chose not to play on both ends and has openly admitted to sandbagging games cause he didn't want to be here. That is a...

    Should the Jazz persue DeRozan?

Sure, why not? Hayward would flourish playing 2nd fiddle to a guy who demands double teams. Could be a difference maker. I can think of other players I would rather have, but I think this would be a good scenario as well.

Where does Utah fit in the West?

I'd love to get a PG of Lillard's caliber. I don't know if we need a bonafide star, I think it can be done with a more team based approach (read San Antonio). The problem with that theory is you have to have the right combination of players and youth/veteran talent to make it work. We...

Anyone else think we should've kept Millsap?

Would've loved to be able to keep Sap, but at the time it seemed like we were drowning in PFs and needed to usher in the new era so we could actually see what we had with the young guys. Still, I hate that he is gone, he was and is perfect for our team.

If Jazz went 19-10 w/Dante starting and held opponents to 89ppg,why the doubt in Exum

Given his injury and the fact that he will likely not be 100% in his first year back, I like the idea of a good vet presence. However, I also think that with Shelvin Mack, we already have enough there to not go needlessly sign someone else. My thoughts on next season would be to allow Mack to...

    Where It Went South

No quality bench is where it went south. You can't expect a bench of Joe Ingles and Trevor Booker to keep you in very many games.
