I also said Simmons would average a triple double for the year in my pre season predictions (and got destroyed) . Not everything is meant to be taken literally (even though hes averaging 18/7/7).

But sure, feel free to put your reputation on the line and bet against him. Ill be sure to remind you of this conversation.

Exum was being killed in here so I broke down Exums minutes over 2 games while asking "Is anyone seeing what Im seeing or am I wearing Dante coloured glasses"?

Being CONCIOUS to the fact that him being Australian may be affecting what Im seeing. No one took the time, generally just smart *** comments, fair enough we move on.

How more measured can I be?

It would be 100x better for the NBA if Mitchell won over DSJ. Not only are you implying that the DUNK CONTEST is rigged. You think that the league so hates Utah that they’d rather give the dunk contest to the worse rookie on an awful team than the guy who could capture headlines down the stretch and become a big name once and for all, chasing Simmons for ROTY. Which would be great for the league.

Why on Eartn would you think that? The persecution complex Jazz fans feel gives me embarrassment just by association.
 
You know there are more than just Jazz fans in the NBA, ask Mark Cuban who he wants to win his agents, etc. There is much $$$ to be made in many many ways, what's better the NBA have 1 awesome rookie getting press coverage or 5? Everything is at least bias if not corrupt, not saying it's corrupt, but there is always bias

hell even my prince/princess contest in 2nd grade, the judge was my sister dance teacher so you know I won that mother

Nah man. Gordon (and myself as I had $100 bucks at 7/1 on him) was robbed because the judging is amateur hour. Bunch of old dudes just throwin up 10s for similar dunks.

Best thing to happen was last year when Shaq refused to give a 10 to anyone if they didnt do it 1st time. The crowd and other judges booed him but it was perfect.
 
I’ll just let it go because I’m almost positive you don’t actually think the dunk contest is rigged for some decent rookie on a crappy team and it was just a typical “woe is us” Jazz fan post.

Lol, thanks for proving with even more quotes and information that you are an Exum Homer. You can be aware that you have a bias but you cant take that bias away, especially when it comes to sports, that are all about opinions.

I am pretty comfortable that he is not a top 5 player this season and will stick to that.

As far as his future goes? I have no idea. If he learns to shoot he could go somewhere but thats a big if. At this point its just a guess. I would guess that he will be a poor mans Giannis but you are guessing the best player in the NBA within 5 years, because you are a homer.

You also guessed he was a top 5 player this year and that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off. That is a homer pick that was a swing and a wild miss. Maybe you just left a 0 off though. You could argue he is a top 50 player this year.

Even the craziest homer would struggle to beleive hed be top 5 as a rookie.
 
He's not even the best player on his team, could be in the top 25 to 30 players in the league tho. Cant be stuffed thinking about it too much i need some sleep have a big day of doing sweet FA ahead.

Well in my crazy prediction I said theyd have 2 of the top 5 players so he doesnt need to be the best (although I think he will be).

If you polled all the GMs I think the vast majority are taking Simmons over Embiid. Due to health and versatility.

You guessed Simmons would be top 5 this year already.

This year Embiid > Simmons.

I think most GMs would gamble on Embiid and his health over Simmons. Embiid is already an elite player, not potential. Although Embiid also has potential to be more.

Although... I guess this is just a statement from you that is not a homer statement and I should not take literally.

1) I never said anyone said Simmons sucked. I hyperbolically said he sucked when you kept reading my posts wrong which proved you wrong saying Simmons disappears in the 4th. He was beyond solid in the forth last night and I provided you with facts that proved you either didn't watch the game or are a hater. You had to go back and edit your comment to address my response.
2) My first response to this thread was because people said he's overrated.
"I like Simmons, but stats canbe overrated."
3) Please read my comments for what they are and don't translate them to something they're not.
