Toronto has Lowry, Wright and VanVleet at the 1, and no cap space.Anyone else think Dante draws interest from the Knicks, Spurs, Raptors and/or Hawks?
Except thats not true. See the historic records from this last season.

The Knicks already have what 2-3 mediocre project PGs. No chanceAnyone else think Dante draws interest from the Knicks, Spurs, Raptors and/or Hawks?
I’d rather have Joe Harris at a fraction of the cost over Hezonja.
Beasley interests me. I think he’s turned the corner so far as being a pro is concerned. He can play the 3 and the 4. His 78% FT% is better than Favors. His 9.0 rebounds per 36 despite playing on the perimeter much of the time is almost equal to Faves’ 9.2. His 2.7 assists per 36 is better than Faves 1.7. He’s obviously a far superior scorer and he’s a career 35.2% 3 point shooter (something Derrick could only dream of) and shot 39+% each of the last two years. With our coaching and continued maturity, I think the kid could be a 40+% consistently. As a stretch 4, that’s insane. Add in the fact that he can score other ways and that he’s a dynamic scorer that we don’t have outside of Mitchell, and a much different one too, and that’s a big asset, at a price that could be reasonable.
The big question of course is how is he on defense? I don’t know the answer to that but would imagine it’s God awful considering the Knicks team defense. That said, they didn’t have Gobert, Ingles, Rubio, Mitchell and company playing d beside him. And I think their coaching staff sucked quite frankly.
So yeah, on a production value basis, I am very interested in Beasley. There’s a reason he was the #2 pick. Crowder can start and Beasley can come in and be the scoring punch off the bench we sorely need.
Having said all this, I think the Knicks retain him at pretty much whatever price.
Isn’t he unrestricted?
I’m actually pretty intrigued by him as well.
Danny ainge is a dick but he is so patient... it is paying off big time now.
No. You gotta look at it differently. You mean 9.5 ppg with .336 % on a garbage team ?? Sorry that = sukk ballzz

If you think he could be your key third piece, why not?Yeah. All I meant was I could see the Knicks offering 4/60 or something. We aren’t doing that.

Patrick Beverley. Also, we need a legit backup pg. Not Neto. And not Exum. If we re-sign him, fine, but we need someone that legit can run the offense if Rubio goes down. There are enough names out there this summer. We need to snag one.

He basically fleeced the dumb Nets ownership. Like when a guy in Fantasy trades LeBron for leftover trash, then beats everyone soundly. Kills the parity of the competition.
Where’s this idea that Hezonja can play the 4 coming from? That’s a genuine question as I don’t watch him, but I really dislike the idea of taking a wing and saying they’re a stretch four because they’re 6’8”, which seems to happen with every 6’8” wing. I think those kind of guys fit a different type of definition of stretch four, where you’re stretching the definition of a 4 to apply to a guy who isn’t one.
I don’t know. Poor rebounding big men is a huge pet peeve for me, kind of akin to missing the first of two free throws. Don’t like 4s who can’t grab at least 8 rebounds per 36, which I know is now a harsh criteria only because the league has continued to put high school point guards at the 4 spot.He rebounds well and played there a bit.
