The Return -- Celtics @ Jazz 11/9/2019 7:30 pm MST ESPN

I was never aware of this rule but evidently it’s commonplace for people to be wide awake after midnight in hotels, banging **** loudly as **** in the adjacent rooms and hallway.
I can't speak for the hallways, but a lot of people go to hotels to bang.
Maybe Mrs. Mantooth would like it if the banging as loud as **** was done in her room sometime

@MVP Rubio had a stretch in the 2nd quarter when he had two bad turnovers and 2 bricks. And he didn't have an assist.

Yes, Rubio was clutch last night at times but he was dreadful at times too. Exum was bad in his 3 minutes, but it was only 3 minutes.

DDid you even watch the game? Exum was complete garbage. Turnover, terrible defense. He looked like a rookie. Exum has played well in other games and Snyder has given him minutes. But you can't keep playing a guy who is shooting 41%/29%. He took 2 shots in those 3 minutes and his 3 wasn't even close. I'm sure Quin was trying to send Dante a message. But I'm afraid Exum is one of those players who makes the NBA and then just doesn't work hard enough to improve. Yes, I realize he's been hurt. But he still can't shoot.

You may get your wish. The Dante experiment in Utah may end as soon as the deadline or the summer. Utah HAS to get better bench production. Dante, O'Neale and Niang aren't providing much help. Crowder has been a stud and I suspect he'll be the starter next season when the Jazz decline Favors' team option.

So snyder can"t keep playing Exum who is shooting 41%/29 %, but he can keep playing mitchell who is shooting a Similar 43%/31 % 36 minutes a game ? The double standard displayed by snyder is simply appalling..
Not to mention Dante is a better defender and play maker than mitchell.
The only way Exum can salvage his career is go and play for another team.

Nope.

That was quite a moment for Jae. I wonder if Gordon ever gets hugs like that from Brad? Probably not in public, but reserved for their hotel rooms.

Seriously, you couldn't wish for a better outcome: a good win, fueled by the guy Boston essentially dumped for Hayward and the "friend" Hayward spurned on his way out. Hayward probably gets back to close to what he was by the end of the year, but for now, both Crowder and Ingles are proving to be much better,

I just want all of that... and a wet willy

So sure we can satisfy the pro and anti camosby trading him done where he’lol have the cabanas to play through his first mistake? Gone for those who think he’s crap. A chance for others to see what he an do.

If it happens within the flow of the offense coach will tolerate it. Exum was like fish out of the water, confused, scared and clueless. Big difference.

Hard to be part of any flow playing less than 3 minutes.

But you are right - the kid looks lost. It's on Quin to find him a role on O so we can reap the benefit of his D.

I got to agree the double standard between Rubio and Dante is bad. I'd say trade Dante I think it will be better for him. At this stage I just feel bad for him

Did you see that Mitchell spoke to three or four members of the Celtics for longer than Haywood spoke to Jingles, his "best friend" on the team? Haywood walks of the court before any of his teammates did as well. It appears that whatever locker room dysfunction Haywood felt he had with the Jazz has followed him to Boston as well. The players have to recognize that any chance of the Celtics getting better through acquisitions is being eaten by Haywood's huge contract.

Glad it's them and not us.

lol Jockstrap what planet are you on ?? all three of Exum, O'Neale and Niang have provided great minutes at times mixed in with some bad games, the bench has generally been pretty good. . If they weren't inconsistent they wouldn't be bench players. The starting 5 has sucked. Exum's 3 wasn't close because it was a last second beat the shot clock attempt after he was passed the ball with the clock about to go off. He looked terrible last night but it's pretty harsh being judge on a couple of minutes. He'll be back to his normal minutes next game, Quin obviously REALLY wanted to win this game and went with the guys he trusts. If you're really going to say you can't keep playing a guy who is shooting 41/29 % then why has Rubio been still getting onto the court ??

The thing i find weird is the first handful of games Exum was as agressive as heck trying to go to the basket while the last 4-5 he seems to be trying to be the distributor ??

Going to be interesting to see how the next 30-35 games pan out.

Rubio is so overrated by quin. He plays over 30 mins a game. It shouldn't be to hard for him cause quin would have lots of plays that are run for him. So Rubio knows where the others will be at all times on the court. But he still turns the ball over all the time. He's not fast, he can't stay in front of opposition guards, he can steal the ball, he can't shoot. He can assist the ball when he's not turning it over. On the other hand Dante wouldn't have many plays run for him. Just let him play attack. Don't make him stand in the corner that's not his strength. Just give him freedom and tell him to attack. The problem he was attacking really well but the last couple of games all of sudden he stands in the corner. Thats coming from quin. He plays less than 15 mins a game. Give the kid a chance to play 30 mins and see what u got. He's an athletic freak. Before u sign Rubio to 3 years 60 million which I will tell u he will get slower each year. Can u imagine Rubio in 2 years how slow he will be. Take a look at Dante and give him a chance to play. Not stand in the corner. I mean tell him to attack and run plays for him!!! Play with freedom and don't take him out after 1 turnover!!!

To be honest I don't think Exum will ever figure it out.

Figure what out?
You do realize he is trying to mould himself to what Quin wants and feels the team needs.

Stay infront of the oppositions fastest guard when he is on the court. Use his speed as a change up to collapse the defense or get to the rim. Otherwise stand around and look as if he wants to take an open shot.

He has been doing ok.
Do you expect him to be someone else in this system? It would only be fair to hope he was a bit more efficient. But he is what he is (as Q sees him).

Wow. Jack.. This is a horrible take.
You don't think Dante's solid play this year deserved another chance last night?
Wow just wow.

First or second play on the court he was hit with his customary BS foul. Then made a TO, an assist and a missed shot on the buzzer.

Not his greatest three minutes. But you really think Q's response was justified?
