Who are you more worried about in the next series?

I think not having home court takes a lot of pressure off the Jazz. They can lose the first 2 while the players get used to playoff intensity and not have to worry about too much. I think the Jazz can steal 1 of the first 2 and really put the pressure on OKC, and beat OKC possibly in 6 games...

CBS sports with some pretty high praise for the Jazz

Have them as the 5th best starting 5 and the #1 best bench in the NBA. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/ranking-all-30-nba-benches-a-non-playoff-team-secures-top-spot/ https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/ranking-all-30-nba-starting-lineups-hint-warriors-are-pretty-good/

    Hot Rod Phrases

In honor of one of the greatest, post your favorite "hot rod" phrases in this thread. I think it deserves its own thread. I'll start with an obvious one. "With a gentle push and a mild arc, the cowhide globe hits home."

    This teams defense stinks

Seriously, so many teams go off on the Jazz and shoot lights out. 57 % tonight from 3 and 57 % from the field. Before tonight teams were 37.5 % on 3's, good for 24th in the NBA. Is it just luck, is it the scheme, or is it players? Jazz have been bottom 7 the last 3 years (including this year)...

I know everyone is panicking, but I think there is some hope.

Since Trey has came back the Jazz have won 9 games. They have beaten the following crappy teams Chicago @Sacramento @Orlando @Charlotte LA Lakers (who have nobody healthy left) Charlotte They have only beaten a few good teams @Phoenix Houston @Denver They are beating mostly bad...

Name all of the players on this team who have played with a number 1 overall pick.

While we're sending out vibes, lets send some in the direction of the lottery. I know this is a bit early, so we may need to have this thread resurface before the lottery takes place.

    Trade thread alert: Marvin Williams

This is more of a thread to get an idea of the options for Marvin Williams than anything else. But I was thinking that he would fit in great with Portland as their expectations are extremely high and they could definitely use the depth at SF/PF. I was thinking that we could trade him for...

Which teams are in "tank mode"

Before the season started, everyone thought that Phoenix and Philadelphia were the 2 worst teams in the NBA, and now they are 2-0 and 3-0 respectively. Will they keep it up, or will they end up as predicted? Which other teams will be at the bottom at the end of the season? Boston, Orlando...

How do we put our players in the best position to succeed next year?

We have had a few threads about who will be the starting 5, who is coming off the bench, and how many minutes each player will get. I am more curious about what each individual player needs this next year to be in the best position to succeed. Burke- He obviously is a pg only, and will...

What should the Jazz do for a 3rd big man? And other 2013-2014 ideas.

Here's what I would do for the Jazz next year if I was the GM. PG- Mo Will(resign 2-3yrs), Rookie PG in draft, Foye SG- Hayward, Burks, Foye SF-Carroll, Hayward, FA PF- Favors, Player X, Pogo stick C- Kanter, Favors My question is, who should be player X? AJ, Milsap, FA (who), or...

    2011 Draft question

I was just thinking about the Klay Thompson and the 2011 NBA draft and wondered if the jazz would have taken him over Burks if he was available. He has been tearing it up this year. I was also curious where they had the PG's ranked in comparison. Knight Walker Fredette Thompson Burks...

What do you want to happen friday night?

Pick what side you are on. Jazz win or Jazz loss. This game could make the difference between 0 and 2 lottery picks in a presumably much deeper draft.

It really is amazing what this team has been able to do with no shooting.

Will someone give me any reason to hope for the Jazz to improve.

They have been horrible. I don't know if I should blame Corbin or the lockout. Simple basketball plays they just mess up on. I don't know if I have ever seen so many long, lazy passes get intercepted. They give up turnovers and 4 players surround the ball only to leave other players wide open...
